FAQ
What is the dress code?
Black Tie Optional. This means guests are encouraged but not required to dress in black tie attire. For a full breakdown and example photos, please see our dress code page!
What are the weekend events?
Friday (3/12/27): All guests will receive an invitation to join us for a pre-wedding celebration at a restaurant in Guadalajara in lieu of a formal rehearsal dinner. This will be an informal celebration and is completely optional. However, for planning and logistics we will require RSVP. More details to come...
Sunday (3/14/27): We will be organizing a post-wedding excursion to Tequila, MX, which is about one hour from Guadalajara. We are including this as part of our celebration to provide our guests an opportunity to learn more about the birthplace of tequila! Participation is optional! Guests will receive an invitation that will contain details for how to purchase their ticket to confirm their spot.
Will there be an afterparty?
We plan to extend the wedding reception to avoid needing to go to an afterparty location. We encourage all our friends and family to stay until the end!
What is the timeline of events?
We will share the wedding schedule closer to the date. Please visit our homepage to see the weekend's events.
Is transportation provided?
Yes! We will be providing buses for guests that will pick up at designated locations, likely the two hotels on our travel page. We will share the shuttle information closer to the date which will include pick up times, pick up locations, and information on rides after the reception.
What if I miss the shuttle or want to leave early from the reception?
If you miss the shuttle, we encourage you to Uber to the venue. Uber is widely used in Guadalajara. We would also recommend Uber for those that want to leave early from the reception.
What time should I arrive?

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
The venue is indoor/outdoor, with covered terraces. We anticipate the mild temperatures in Guadalajara during the wedding weekend.
Are kids welcome?
While we love your little ones, this will be an adults-only celebration. We hope this allows everyone to relax and enjoy the evening.
Can I take photos and videos during the reception?
We want to encourage an unplugged ceremony. We will have a photo, video and a content team at the ceremony capturing every moment. We will make sure to share photos on our socials for you to see! We do welcome any and all photos and videos during the cocktail hour and reception.
