PASSPORTS

Passports are required for guests without Mexican citizenship. Please make sure you either obtain a passport or renew expiring passports in the months before the wedding!

CHAUFFEUR

Chauffeurs are great options for airport pick-up/drop-off if you want a comfortable experience or are traveling with a group. Itineraries will need to be set up in advance with the driver/company and additional rides can be set up if you decide to use them during your stay. A company that is recommended is:

FLIGHTS

The nearest airport is Guadalajara International Airport (GDL) which is about 45 minutes from the venue and hotels. Please see below for travel times to help plan your trip!

RIDESHARE

Uber is widely used in Guadalajara, but not Lyft. We recommend using Uber for local rides, but not to get picked up from the airport upon arrival as there is strict rules on them and they require pick up outside of the airport. You are welcome to use Uber for your return flight.

WEATHER

March is a beautiful time of year in Guadalajara. During the day, expect temps in the low-mid 80s, however at night can reach high 50s/low 60s so we recommend to bring a light jacket in case.

TAXI

Generally not recommended as they tend to hike up prices which is common in other parts of Mexico as well. We only recommend using a taxi upon arrival at the airport if you do not have a driver set up prior. They are readily available outside the airport terminal exits.
